What to Expect

For you, this may be the first time you’ve visited a hearing healthcare office. If so, you may be concerned about what we will be doing today. To calm your fear of the unknown, we’ve prepared the following summary.

6 Worry-Free Steps to Your Hearing Success

  • Pain-Free video ear exam. You get the opportunity to see what we see inside your ear canal. Your problem could just be wax!
  • Medical & hearing history assessment. This is where you will be able to share your story to help us understand why you are here and how we can help you.
  • Pain-Free Hearing evaluation. Using pain-free & sophisticated testing equipment, we will determine how much hearing help you actually need or don’t need.
  • Hearing Needs & Lifestyle assessment. We will ask you and your companion several simple questions that will help us better understand how, what, when and where your hearing loss is negatively affecting your life and your family.
  • Evaluation results review & treatment prescribed. We will describe in detail the results of your evaluation, how our ears and brain work together, and the hearing treatment options that are most appropriate for you.
  • Demonstration. If needed, you will be given a demonstration of the hearing aids that are most likely to be the best solution for your hearing challenges, complete with exposure to noise, familiar music and other listening situations.
